MYDORI
Mydori was adopted from us in 2007. However her family is having financial difficulties and has asked for our help in finding her a new home., She was adopted with Miisha but the two do not need to go together. (In fact they are not together now.) She would do best in a home with only 1 or 2 other cats and no dogs. She is very fond of people and enjoys laps and sharing your bed.

Hello,
My name is Lulu, and I am 5 and a half years old. I'm a sweet-natured, gentle girl looking for my forever home.
Just in case you are thinking that I don't look like your typical Siamese, I should explain that I am a pedigree red-point Javanese - a longhaired version of the Siamese. My fur is beautifully soft and I have a foxes tail, and the most gorgeous gentle china blue eyes that you will ever see. My foster parents think I look a lot like an Arctic Fox. Also, during the summer I get little freckles on the end of my nose, even though I am an indoor cat - how cool is that?
During the day I like to take it nice and easy sleeping and relaxing, but in the evening I love cuddle and play times and to sleep on the bed with my foster mom and dad. I make sure that I give them both the attention they need! I have a couple of toys I love to play with, but my favorite is the feather toy that magically moves in the breeze. Sometimes when I am relaxing I like to reach out and touch my foster parents, just to let them know I care.
I am in really good health, but have to be an only kitty because I tested positive for FeLV. My vet thinks that in the past I had been exposed to it and developed immunity or that I am healthy but a carrier. I have been waiting for my forever home for a long time now I am truly a sweetheart that deserves a loving home please, please consider me.

OMAR
Omar is a very happy boy, now that he's been in foster awhile and has gotten used to a regular routine and the company of people and other kitties. He has a fantastic, lush coat, likes to be pet, and likes yarn balls.
Omar can be with other cats, but he may be happier as an only cat, or at least the first cat in a household. We do not know how he'll do with dogs as we don't have one. Omar may be more suited to a house with older kids, not babies or toddlers, as he doesn't always like to be picked up.
Omar's teeth were in horrid shape when he came into foster. He had to have nearly all his teeth pulled except for three of his fangs and he is much more comfortable. He looks like Bucky Cat from Get Fuzzy fame. He needs to be on a soft food diet, but he will nibble on kibble the best he can. Our bank account is hurting - donations would be greatly appreciated, so as to help the next sweet kitty who needs a helping hand (or paw?).
Omar's also deaf...not that convenient hearing all cats have...we do mean stone deaf...but it's not really slowing him down one bit!

Lily is a beautiful cat with gorgeous markings. She is a little shy but very loving. She doesn't mind if you pet her all day. She will let you know when it's meal time. Lily would do best in a quiet home where she can get lots of attention. She doesn't mind dog at all.

MARIKA
I've come out of my shell a lot over the past couple of months. I just needed some time to learn to trust my foster mom. Now I love to get brushed and flea combed. Most of all I love to cuddle up in her arms in bed at night. I even made a friends with a guy kitty here, his name is Brownie. You can see him in some of my pictures. We do head butts and nuzzles and groom each other's faces. I don't much care for the three girl kitties who live here though.
Foster mom says I'm a rascal, because I find really fun things to play with during the night, and often in very hard to reach places. But that's half the fun. I play a lot. Mostly all by myself. I don't mind. I like it. Oh, and also I am very, very talkative.
In my pictures you can see that my tongue sometimes sticks out. That's because I have crooked teeth and it leaves a space where my tongue can slip out of my mouth. Foster mommy keeps saying I'm really cute so I guess the tongue thing doesn't matter.
I am still a bit skittish at loud noises or abrupt movement, but I finally had the courage to let foster mom walk up to me and pick me up. It felt good when she held me in her arms so I purred. I should probably be in a quiet home, no kids or dogs, but I think I might like another boy kitty who's friendly and gentle.

SUKI
Suki is definitely social and enjoys being close by. She will follow her person from room to room, check out what's cooking for dinner, see if you need help in the bathroom, lounge on the couch while watching TV and if one of her favorite blankets is near by she is happy to do some mush-mush and snooze next to you. She also LOVES sleeping on the bed and often sleeps in.
Suki does well by herself during the day and will greet you when you get home. She is playful, likes feather toys and mice. Her favorite game is "chase the laser pointer". Suki is also very interested in what's going on outside and enjoys bird watching from the window. She has been known to door-dash on occasion but does not run away.
This girl's fur coat is soft as mink and although she enjoys being pet, for the most part Suki is affectionate on her own terms. She will let you know when she wants attention, but please no belly rubs for her - she doesn't like that at all. Suki enjoys being talked to. She makes the cutest chirupping twrills when she's excited, happy or just chatting to herself. Once in awhile she will use her sweet meow to monologue about her current interests.
We don't know how Suki feels about dogs and she would probably not enjoy living with small children (under 12), although she tolerates them as visitors. She will let you know when she wants her 'space'.
Considering her playful nature Suki may enjoy a young male playmate to keep her busy, although she has not had the opportunity to live with one while in the Rescue. In the meantime she requires daily interaction and play time with her people.
Suki is confident but cautious when approaching new situations. She would love to meet and observe you, even let you pet her fabulous coat, but Suki requires trust and time before making you her priority. After that she is a loyal companion.

MARGUERITE
DOG LOVER!!
Marguerite liked to play with dogs, run with dogs, be licked by dogs and sleep with dogs. Well at least beagles. She can run faster than a toddler and does. She is a BIG TALKER. Very pretty yet tom boy ish. She does not like to be carried or held much, but if you need someone to look good and blend with your existing 4 paws family, this is your girl! She also tries to be door dodger, so you would have to keep your eyes on her... just cos she wants to go outside doesn't mean she should. (Same applies to toddlers)

Hi, my name is Andrew (Andy for short). I have been with my foster mom for a few weeks and am practically a new cat. I was a little sick when I was first taken in but am healthy and happy now. I am small and fluffy with pink coloring on my tail and ears. I love to be around people and in the middle of whatever happens to be going on in the house.
